What is your return policy?
All unworn Ready To Ship jewellery purchased within Canada may be returned and exchanged for a store credit within 10 days of receiving your item(s). We don't offer returns and exchanges for store credit on items shipped outside Canada or items that have been sized and altered to you in any way.
We don't offer returns or exchanges on Custom and Made To Order items. There is no returns, exchanges or refunds on gem purchases.
There is no returns, exchanges or refunds on items due to allergies. It’s client’s responsibility to be aware of any skin sensitivities to gold alloys. If you know you are allergic to a standard 14k gold alloy, we recommend 18k gold (more pure gold, less traces of nickel) or platinum (non-allergenic) settings.
We do not issue refunds on any orders.

Can my ring be re-sized?
Yes! We offer one time complimentary sizing on all YCJ rings prior to shipping or within 6 months from purchase date.
We recommend you get sized professionally with us or at your local jeweller a few times. Our hands will fluctuate depending on the weather and body changes so it's important to establish the happy medium. You can also get our at home Ring Sizer to help you get the correct size before re-sizing.

What is your Warranty?
Yuliya Chorna Jewellery warrants all products against manufacturing defects within first 6 months of purchase. Centre stones are not warranted. We will replace any melee (2mm and smaller) stones within the first 6 months of purchase. If there is obvious damage to the piece (missing prongs, out of shape band etc. due to accident or poor care) we will replace stones and repair your piece at your cost. We can size rings one time, free of charge, within the first 6 months of purchase. Customer will be responsible for shipping costs to our Toronto studio.
We don't warrant loss, theft, daily wear and tear of pieces and possible chipping of stones. Centre stones are NOT under warranty. We strongly recommend that you insure your precious pieces with your home insurance or a third party company.
We recommend a yearly check up of your jewellery with us (or your local jeweller) to make sure all stones are tight and sparkly.
We provide appraisals with all custom items over $2000 CAD and ready made or one-of-a-kind pieces over $4000 CAD. If you need to get your Yuliya Chorna Jewellery piece appraised we can provide that service for an additional $100 CAD.
How long does shipping take?
All Ready To Ship pieces ship within 1-2 business days after the order is placed. Ring sizing takes up to 7 days before shipping.
Canadian orders ship with CanadaPost Express or FedEx Priority and take between 2-4 business days depending on the value fo your order and your location.
International orders ship with DHL Express Worldwide or FedEx Priority and take between 2-14 days depending on your location (only 2-4 business days to USA). Note that we can't control any delays at the boarders. All international duties and taxes are client's responsibly.
We recommend delivering your precious jewellery to a place that you know it can arrive at safely. Please note that all packages over $1000 CAD ship with signature at delivery for security. If you wish to disable signature at delivery contact us email@example.com after placing your order. Your package then will be delivered to the front door of your selected delivery address with no signature at delivery.

How can I pay?
You can pay through our check out system on the website using a credit card, debit card, PayPal or Apple Pay. If you are Canadian you can also pay via bank E-transfer using your Canadian bank account. Email us with info on the order you'd like to pay for via E-transfer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long does it take for a custom piece?
Custom projects typically take between 8-12 weeks depending on the design, complexity and stone requests. Read more about Custom Process.
Can you re-work my heirloom pieces?
Availability for heirloom re-works is limited. Depending on the scope of the project, we will access each inquiry and will let you know what is possible at the time. We DO NOT buy clients gems or jewellery.
Do you do engraving?
Yes! We offer inside ring & other jewellery engraving. Email email@example.com to get a quote.
How do I keep my jewellery sparkling?
Avoid heavy use of hand sanitizer directly on soft stones like opals. Wash your hands often to wash off the sanitizer and pat dry. Take your jewellery off when applying moisturizer, sunscreen, using household chemicals and working out.
To bring back more sparkle, soak your pieces in a bowl with warm water and gentle dish soap for 10-15 minutes. Use a toothbrush to scrub around all angles and inside the rings, wash off with warm water and pat dry well. Avoid using commercial cleaners because they are full of harsh chemicals.

Can you re-create a ring I saw somewhere?
We don't replicate pieces made by other artists or companies. We create our jewellery with the intention that our clients will work with us because of what we specialize in. You are welcome to use images as your inspiration for a custom project but we will always put our own spin on the design to keep our signature look.
